Catfish
In Exodus: Goodbye World, Catfish are the most basic fish in the Fishing Skill, requiring level 1 to catch. Every 10 seconds an attempted catch or a successful catch will occur while actively fishing. Successful catches grant 4 experience, while an attempted catch earns 2 experience points. These fish are used primarily for cooking, which also requires level 1 Cooking. They have a chance to burn until the player reaches level 40 in the Cooking Skill. Cooked Catfish can be eaten to regenerate 10 health points. Catching Catfish provides a low-level amount of experience points, contributing effectively to the advancement of the Fishing skill. Becoming proficient in both catching and cooking Catfish is crucial for steady player progress and overall success in the game.
