Cooking Skill Overview
The Cooking skill allows players to transform raw fish into cooked meals. These cooked meals add a crucial dimension to gameplay since players can consume them to regenerate their health.

Ruben
NPC and Starting Equipment
Ruben: The NPC for the Cooking Skill. Ruben provides new players with information about Cooking to get players started on their Farming journey.
Mechanics:
- Players must have a firepit lit & at least one raw fished in inventory.
- Various fish require different levels to cook. If a user's level does not match or exceed the level requirement of the fish they may not cook it.
- When a skill level meets the minimum requirements to cook a fish, there will be a 50% chance to burn the fish. As a user increases their level, the burn rate will decrease.
- When a user reaches 40 levels above the required level to cook a fish, the player will no longer burn that type of fish.
Experience and Leveling:
Cooking fish grants experience points (XP), contributing to leveling up the Cooking skill. Higher-level fish provide more XP and more efficient health generating fish.
Cooked Fish and their purposes:
- Cooked fish are used to regenerate health.

- The Cooking Skilling Pet. This level-able Moue hatches from a special egg and enhances cooking efficiency.
Abilities[]
Chief Wellington provides several benefits as it levels up:
- Extra Resource Chance: At level 25, an unlockable ability gives a chance to earn an additional cooked fish while cooking.
- XP Resource Burn Chance: At level 40, an unlockable ability allows a chance to convert a cooked fish directly into experience points.
- Resource Banking: At level 50, an unlockable ability provides a chance for a cooked fish to be sent directly to the bank instead of the player’s inventory.
Gourmet Lunchies[]
Special food used to unlock and enhance Chief Wellington's abilities. Feeding Gourmet Lunchies activates abilities like extra resource gathering, XP boosts, and direct resource banking, significantly improving cooking efficiency.
Cooking Skilling Shards[]
Overview[]
While cooking, players have a chance to receive shard pieces. Four pieces can be combined to form a full Cooking Shard, which can be used to unlock the Cooking Skilling Outfit, Pet Foods, Egg, and Pet Abilities. Players must have 1 of each piece to combine to a full shard.

The Culinary Artisan Skilling Outfit comes with five unique pieces: head, upper body, lower body, gloves, and boots. It is obtained through redeeming 5 Full Cooking Skilling Shards per piece (requiring 25 shards total to create the whole set).

- Start with Catfish.
- Players can use Higher-Level Logs to maintain a fire longer.
- Cook in batches to reduce bank runs, but it is recommended to keep multiple slots opened in case of earning a shard, scavenger hunt token, or any other potential random drops.
