NPC and Starting Equipment
Finn: The NPC for the Fishing Skill. He provides new players with a free Fishing Rod to get started on their Fishing journey.
Mechanics:[]
- Players must have a Fishing Rod equipped to catch fish.
- Fish require different levels to Catch. If a user's level does not match or exceed the level requirement of the fish they may not catch it.
- Each Fishing Rod has level requirements to equip as well as a hardness. The players level & Fishing Rod type will determine the effectiveness a user has while catching fish. Example, a user at level 45 with a Blue Fishing Rod will catch fish faster than if they were to be using a lower level rod or had a lower fishing level.
Experience and Leveling:[]
Fishing grants experience points (XP), contributing to leveling up the Fishing skill. Higher-level fish provide more XP and better resources.
