The inventory system in Exodus: Goodbye World is a fundamental feature that allows players to manage their items, resources, and equipment. It is designed to be user-friendly and efficient, ensuring that players can easily access and organize their possessions as they explore and adventure in the game world.
Getting Started[]
User Interface (UI):
- The inventory system features a user-friendly interface that allows players to view and manage their items easily. The interface includes options such as:
- Sorting items
- Viewing an item's details
- Equipping an item
- Using an item
- Discarding items

Inventory Slots & Organizing:
- Players have a limited number of inventory slots (30 slots) to carry items. Each slot can hold one type of item, making it essential for players to prioritize what they carry.
- Players can organize their inventory by swapping the position of items. This can be done by selecting an item and then selecting a 2nd item to swap their locations in the inventory.
Using Items[]
- Items in the inventory can be equipped, consumed, or used directly from the inventory screen. This includes equipping weapons and armor, consuming food for health, and using resources for crafting.
- Players can also drop items on the ground if they need to free up inventory space quickly. Dropped items will appear on the ground for a limited time before disappearing.
Drop[]
When an item is selected there will be a drop option.

Equip[]
Equip-able items will have an "EQUIP" and "DROP" option.

Carve[]
Carvable items will have a "CARVE" and "DROP" option.

Grind[]
Grindable items will have a "DROP", "GRIND", and "GRIND ALL" options

Mix[]
Mixable items will have a "DROP", "MIX", and "MIX ALL" option.

Select[]
When interacting with an option to give an item, a "SELECT" option will appear upon clicking the item. Choosing this option will give up the selected item if possible. For instance, to reset a Scavenger Hunt, a player must select a scavenger hunt token to give to Marja. Similarly, when planting a seed, the user must select the seed they wish to plant.

Eat[]
Edible items will have a "DROP" and "EAT" option.

Item Information[]
Item information will display at the bottom of inventory when selected. This information may include
- Item name
- Item description
- Sell price if applicable at the Merchant Shoppe
- Executable option (such as "Use") if applicable
- Skill Associations & Item Level

Stackable Items[]
- Certain items, such as resources and ammunition (e.g., arrows), are stackable. This means multiple units of the same item can occupy a single inventory slot, making it easier to manage large quantities of similar items.
Tokenized Items:[]
- Tokenized items enable players to convert non-stackable items into a tokenized form, making storage and trading more efficient. These tokenized items take up a single inventory slot regardless of quantity, forfeiting their regular use case. Players can revert tokenized items to their original form by depositing and withdrawing them from the bank.
Summary[]
The inventory system in Exodus: Goodbye World is a vital feature that supports players in managing their items and resources. With a user-friendly interface, efficient organization options, and secure storage in the bank, the inventory system enhances the overall gameplay experience. Whether gathering resources, equipping gear, or trading with other players, the inventory system ensures that players can navigate their adventures in Exodus smoothly and effectively.
